Yes. Scroll to the top of this page to find a demonstration video of a person using the device.

Most users do not feel anything when the blue button is pushed, as the needles only insert into the top surface of the skin. During collection, you may not feel anything other than a light vacuum or tugging sensation at the collection site.
Warming the site helps the blood flow more easily and quickly into the device. Warming is an important step in making sure that your collection is a success by providing a complete sample for testing.

If the blood has not filled to the minimum target fill line(s) on the collection tube within 4 minutes of activating the device, the TAP II device should be removed from the skin and the sample tube should be capped. If you collected any blood sample, you should return it to the lab following the instructions in the kit.

If you did not collect any blood at all, please contact the person who supplied the kit to you and notify them. If you do not have their contact information, please contact customer support by completing the form at the bottom of the page www.7sbio.com/help.

Remove the device immediately, cap the sample, and complete the mixing and return shipment steps as instructed.

DO NOT pour out or remove blood from the collection tube, even if it is filled above the target collection lines.

It is important to watch the blood fill inside the tube during your collection so the device can be removed once it reaches the target fill line.

DO NOT use the device without the sample tube.

Different color tube caps are used to indicate different types of tests that sample will be used for.

Double-check the Lab Request Form which came with your kit and confirm that it has the correct contact information for you and lists the test you ordered. If yes, you can go ahead and use the kit you received.
